For ChatGPT, the custom connector is the direct path. A plugin listing is the simpler discovery path when one is available in your workspace.
Use ChatGPT on the web with a Business or Enterprise/Edu workspace. Your workspace admin must allow Developer mode / custom MCP apps.
Open Settings → Apps → Advanced Settings and switch on Developer mode. Business workspaces limit this flow to admins/owners; Enterprise/Edu can grant access with RBAC.
Go to Settings → Apps → Create. Name it “TradeOS”, choose the remote MCP / Streamable HTTP option, and paste this endpoint:
https://ai.tradeos.xyz/api/agent/mcp/mcp-callAuthentication: OAuth. Do not paste an access token into a chat.
Select Scan tools. When TradeOS opens, sign in and approve the requested access. Return to ChatGPT and wait for the tool scan to finish, then select Create.
Start a new chat, open the Tools / Apps menu, and select TradeOS. The app may carry a Dev label until your workspace publishes it.
Try these prompts after enabling the app. ChatGPT should show that it is calling a TradeOS tool before returning live context.

“Search for ETH and compare its spreads across available venues.”
“Use macro context to explain today’s unusual move in crypto markets.”
Confirm you are on ChatGPT web and your Business or Enterprise/Edu workspace has enabled custom MCP apps. Business restricts Developer mode to admins/owners; Enterprise/Edu admins may need to grant your role access.
